This page describes the site management policies for processing the personal data of users consulting the website. This information is given in accordance with article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Data Protection Law) to anyone interacting with the web services of MF Group S.r.l.


Data relating to identified or identifiable individuals may be processed after consulting this site.

The “owner” of the data processing is MF Group S.r.l. (hereinafter “MF Group” or the “Company”) with its registered offices in Località Braine nr. 54/a, 40036, Rioveggio (Bologna).


Processing connected to the web services will take place at the above-mentioned registered offices of the Company and is carried out exclusively by the Owner, namely, the Companies which are subsidiaries, owned or associated to it. If necessary, data may be processed by personnel of external computing companies.


Browsing data

Information systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during the normal course of operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. It concerns information that is not collected to be associated with specific individuals, but, by their nature, could allow users to be identified through the processing and association with data held by third parties. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site , URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request , the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer set-up.

This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the site and to check its correct functioning and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, currently, data on web contacts are not stored for more than seven days.

Data supplied voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit or voluntary sending of email to those addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address which is required to answer requests, as well as any other personal data in the message.

This data may be used for the following purposes:

       i. to answer specific requests by the user;

       ii. to send the MF Group newsletter (when requested by the user);

       iii. to send marketing information by mail (e.g. on promotions, business initiatives, information about new products, services and offers by MF Group).


No personal data concerning users are acquired by this website through cookies.

Cookies are not used to transmit data of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies used, namely user-tracing systems.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not permanently memorised on the user’s computer and are eliminated on closing the browser) is strictly limited to the transmission session identifiers (formed by random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing on the site.

The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other computing systems that might otherwise jeopardise the confidentiality of users and do not allow personal data to be collected that may identify users.


Except for where previously specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data given in the Company’s request forms or indicated when contacting the Office to request the dispatch of the newsletter, information or other communications. Failing to submit personal data may make it impossible to process the request.


Personal data are processed by computerised only for as long as is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed in order to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.


The individuals to whom the personal data refer have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether such data exists and to know its content and source, check its accuracy or request its integration, updating, rectification, deletion or transformation into anonymous form, or block data that has been processed unlawfully, and also to object on any grounds to its processing, for legitimate reasons.
